Let's create a video game!
PRV is a game I had in the back of my mind since I first played video games. The rules of the game come from an already existing recess game and I always thought that it would translate really well to the video-game format.
So, I decided to make it!
Starting an indie dev project is always full of challenges, no team to rely on, no fixed hours, a limited budget…
But those are all opportunities to grow and improve. It requires discipline to handle each tasks on the project board and stay on deadlines, because when one feature or one asset is delayed, it means nothing else can progress.
During this project I had to wear a lot of hats and improve on a lot of skills:
Project and time management
Networking backend code
Asset creation
VFX Art
User feedback handling
(Also a bit of HR at times when I was going crazy over some bugs)
